In the year 2025, it’s time we expose the absurdity that self-care, ‘me time’ and a good soak in the tub are meant solely for women. The idea for Sento was created when our founder Dan, who loves a relaxing bath, noticed all bathing products are marketed mainly at women and women only.
There was no space for men, nor were they encouraged to relax and look after themselves. Sparking a flame of frustration, Sento was born.
As well as the apparent exclusion from self-care practices, the products that are on the market are mostly filled with synthetic ingredients, bright neon colours, harmful chemicals and largely feminine fragrances... We’re not naming names.
That’s why our entire range is completely gender-neutral in look and smell, as well as focusing on natural, plant-based ingredients that look after you, the animals and the planet.
One of the main products that often feel overly artificial and feminine are bath bombs. With major retailers selling piles of neon pink and floral fragranced bath bombs, we thought it was time to change it up and create a bathing product for everyone.
